Albert's Big Band @ The Royal Albert Hall
One of London’s biggest Swing Dances returns to the Royal Albert Hall’s iconic auditorium.
You are invited to follow in the footsteps of the world’s most famous dancers from Carlos Acosta to Sara Baras and take to the dancefloor in the breathtaking surroundings of the Hall.
Dance the Lindy Hop, Jive and Jitterbug as you spend the evening moving and grooving to the sounds of our very own Albert’s Big Band on a specially laid dance floor. They’ll be performing renditions of classics by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie.
Whether you are completely new to swing dance or a seasoned pro, get your glad rags on and join us for a good old-fashioned knees up!
Albert's Big Band @ The Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall is delighted to announce the return of the Tea Dance in our iconic auditorium.
Everyone is welcome to spend the afternoon dancing to quicksteps, foxtrots, waltzes and Latin numbers performed live by our very own Albert’s Big Band, all in the breathtaking surroundings of the Hall.
Dance to classics by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie in the home of the International Ballroom Championships, as you waltz under our world-famous main Auditorium mushrooms on a specially laid dance floor.
Tickets £10 (fees included) – includes tea/coffee and a slice of cake.
This event is presented as part of our Education & Outreach programme, as a social event for an audience of older adults and community groups.

The Islanders @ Phoenix Artists Club
As a new show lands at The Phoenix Theatre, so does a Tuesday night residency at the Phoenix Arts Club! Introducing The Islanders - the Irish folk band starring members of the new hit musical Come From Away!
Every Tuesday night from 9.30pm, just after the curtain call upstairs, head down to the Phoenix Arts Club and enjoy the sound of fiddles, the strumming of guitars and the tapping of spoons ’til your heart’s content.
These established West End musicians will serenade your post-show drinks and create an experience like no other at one of Central London’s last independent venues. Old favourites are reignited and classics are reintroduced in this beautiful celebration of culture.
This event is free for Phoenix Arts Club members and Come From Away ticket holders (just show your ticket on the door)! It’s the perfect opportunity to come together.
The Phoenix Arts Club is a thirty-year-old independent venue with a rich history. What was once the rehearsal rooms of the theatre above in the 1930s (used by Noel Coward, Gertrude Lawrence and Sir Lawrence Olivier, to name a few), the Phoenix is now a celebratory venue for anything and anyone theatrical or appreciative of the arts. With multiple weekly shows and cabarets, an award-winning restaurant and a unique, independent drinks space and events host, The Phoenix Arts Club is the place to be every night in Central London.
